Curated by Brooklyn independent dancer/choreographer Erin Gottwald, this newest of Spoke the Hub’s concert series gathers artists and performers of all stylistic bents from cities beyond New York, providing a window into unknown dance territory. These out-of-towners have been invited to share their work in the artistically burgeoning industrial and residential neighborhood of the Gowanus in Brooklyn. Winter Follies Showcase presents more than 20 professional artists of all genres that have just 5 minutes to “WOW” the audience who then votes for their favorite act. The winner of Winter Follies receives an evening-length concert produced by Spoke the Hub.
