Capricorn Birthday Bash

Spoke the Hub birthday celebrants invite one and all to come party UP with us as we summit new heights at our neighbor’s place — Brooklyn Boulders — across the street from us in the Gowanus. As their founder says, “If you can climb a ladder, you can climb a wall” and there is plenty of padding everywhere for the more timid or fragile amongst us!

In lieu of gifts, we Capricorns are asking our friends and families for a $25 donation (or more, if you can) to Spoke the Hub this year which will go toward supporting our work at the Consolation Center- Haiti, a new girls’ school and orphanage we have been partners with since 2010. (Our next work trip to the CCH in Haiti is in February 2012 – want to join us?)

We’re no longer accepting RSVPs for the climbing event at Brooklyn Boulders, but come on over to our space at Spoke the Hub Re:Creation Center (748 Union St) at 9:00pm for birthday cake, champagne, dancing and relaxing with friends!

And don’t worry, if you can’t make it to the party, you can still make a tax-deductible “Capricorn’s Birthday Bash” donation that will support the girls at Consolation Center-Haiti. Email us to find out how!
